Talent Acquisition Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Technical Recruiter is responsible for developing and implementing the company’s strategic recruitment plan. This position will be responsible for partnering with hiring managers to determine staffing needs; ensuring the selection of highly qualified personnel is in accordance with position duties and qualifications.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish and implement the full life-cycle recruiting process for a variety of technical and non-technical positions

  • Develop company’s policy for talent benchmarking, talent assessment and interviewing

  • Proactively source active and passive candidates through networking, employee referrals, direct sourcing, internet and social media recruiting, internal databases and innovative research tactics

  • Post job advertisements to job sites, social media, and other recruitment channels to find top talent for each requisition and to build a strong pipeline of potential candidates using company’s ATS technology

  • Design and manage recruitment and selection processes (resume screening, screening calls, interviews etc.)

  • Serve as brand ambassador at various events, like career fairs or recruiting events

  • Represent company internally and externally at events with a goal of networking and relationship building with potential candidate communities

  • Build long-term relationships with past and potential candidates

  • Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities

  • Generate monthly updates for company’s leadership about upcoming talent acquisition initiatives

  • Communicate regularly with HR department to get a clear view of company’s hiring needs and organizational goals

  • Provide consulting to hiring managers on hiring best practices

  • Proactively seek market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in attracting, assessing and sourcing methodologies

  • Recommend new ideas for improving recruitment activities to attract and retain top talent that aligns with the company’s strategic objectives, mission and culture

  • Perform analysis of organizational development and anticipate future employment needs

  • Research recruitment trends in the staffing industry

  • Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the staffing industry; sourcing and closing both non-technical and technical talent in a competitive market

  • Human Resources related experience preferred

  • Strong professional demeanor using good judgement, maturity, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

  • Passion for recruiting with In-depth knowledge of candidate selection methods

  • Demonstrate curiosity to stay abreast of current trends and best practices

  • Must have demonstrated success in recruiting and retaining diverse employee talent, including creating and implementing recruitment strategies

  • Ability to maintain relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure staffing goals are achieved

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Power Point is essential

  • Exhibit extraordinary discretion, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with our management team

  • Excellent understanding of full cycle recruitment processes

  • Hands on experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

  • Creative thinker and proactive problem solver
