Position Duties:

  • Work with business leadership and SMEs to modify educational priorities and set objectives for learning that align with business goals and learning needs.

  • Collaborates with managers and subject matter experts to address development needs, instructional strategies and business priorities.

  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging learning experiences including learning solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.

  • Develop instructional materials and training aids using a variety of methods and forms of media.

  • Conduct and lead meetings to gather information for the development of the training materials.

  • Develop assessments to evaluate and measure the effectiveness of the learning experiences, and training programs and methods.

  • Perform office administrative tasks such as filing and reporting.

  • Provide daily administrative support to staff.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year instructional design professional experience.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in administrative support role, preferably with electric and gas infrastructure projects.

  • Associate degree in Instructional Design, Education, or relevant degree preferred.

  • Prior work experience with SDG&E, SCE or PG&E is a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.

  • Familiarity with Instructional design, storyboarding, scriptwriting, learning technology, and social learning tools.

  • Understanding of project management process and its application within the instructional design process.

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, including Visio.
